Say Hello to Germany

Say Hello to Germany – the first get-together within the ENHANCE Tandem project On December 20, 2021, the first online get-together Say Hello to Germany within the Language Tandem project was organised. The event was led by Liv Jakbczyk, the DAAD-lektor at Warsaw University of Technology and coorganised by Dorota Chromińska, the proxy for language tandems at the WUT Foreign Language Centre and Joanna Kret, the Language Tandem Coordinator. 30 students from 7 ENHANCE universities took part in the meeting and had the opportunity to expand their knowledge about Germany and integrate with people from the ENHANCE Tandem community.

Second Language Tandem Kick-Off Meeting

We would like to invite students, doctoral candidates, academics and administrative staff to take part in the Second Language Tandem Kick-Off Meeting. The Language Tandems project has officially started

On October 25, 2021, the Language Tandems project was officially launched online. This project is the part of the activities within ENHANCE alliance. This kick-off meeting was attended by over 300 students and employees from all ENHANCE partner universities.

Warsaw University of Technology in ENHANCE

In November 2020, the ENHANCE consortium was created, consisting of 7 leading European technical universities: Berlin University of Technology, RWTH in Aachen, Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, University of Technology in Milan, University of Technology in Valencia and Warsaw University of Technology.

The first meeting of the WP3 + group

On January 28, 2021, the first meeting of the WP3 + group took place, during which representatives of partner universities began work on the Language Tandems project.

Second meeting of the WP3 + group

On February 25, 2021, the second meeting of the WP3 + group took place. Representatives of partner universities discussed the content and functionality of the website for language tandems and pedagogical facilities (tandem library) for project participants.

ENHANCE Launch Event

We invite you to participate in the "Launching the Future" conference - the first public event addressed to employees, students and doctoral students of universities forming the ENHANCE consortium.

Third meeting of the WP3 + group

On March 25, 2021, the third meeting of the WP3 + group took place. Representatives of the Language Centers of partner universities discussed combining language courses organized by universities with language tandems as part of the ENHANCE consortium.

The Foreign Language Center at Warsaw University of Technology co-creates tandems

The Center for Foreign Languages at the Warsaw University of Technology joins the Language Tandems project. As part of the cooperation with teachers from CFL at WUT, a bank of materials for project participants and methodological guidelines are being created.
